Biography:

Stefan Kroon has been involved with Almende since 2001.

Stefan studied Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering at the Haagse Hogeschool. He did his final internship at Almende, and took a permanent position in 2001, though he continued his studies at Delft University of Technology.

Over the years, Stefan has worked for Almende participations Regas and ASK Community Systems. Currently, he is back at Almende as system architect, overseeing the design of software for research projects.

His main focus is the development of IVO, a generic synchronisation tool which can be used to exchange information between any database, thus connecting IT-systems between different departments and companies.

Next to his work as software architect at Almende, Stefan is party leader for D66 in the municipality (deelgemeente) Rotterdam Noord.
