PROF. DR. CATHOLIJN JONKER

negotiation, reasoning, incident management, analysis and modelling of cognitive processes, intelligent agents, organization theory

Biography:

Catholijn studied Computer Science in Utrecht and did her promotion at the same university. She then accepted a postdoc position in Bern (Switzerland). She became assistant (and later associate) professor of Artificial Intelligence at the Vrije Universiteit of Amsterdam.

From 2004 Catholijn was full professor of Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Science at Radboud University Nijmegen. In 2006 she moved to the Man-Machine Interaction Group of Delft University of Technology.

Catholijn was chair of De Jonge Akademie (part of KNAW), and she was on the board of the LNVH (Dutch Network of Female Professors). She is also member of DEWIS (Delft Women in Science).
